🦺 Hard-Working Tradie Callus πŸ‘£ Years of hard work on your feet can take their toll

🦺 Hard-Working Tradie Callus πŸ‘£ Years of hard work on your feet can take their toll. This tradie has developed a painful callus over the first MTP joint (bunion joint) because his foot is overpronating, creating extra pressure in this area. Over time, the skin thickens to protect itself, but eventually it can crack, split, and become very painful. Today I’m carefully removing the callus to provide immediate relief. We usually see him every 8–10 weeks to keep it under control before it becomes too uncomfortable. To help slow it from coming back, we recommend: βœ… Using an emollient moisturiser every day. βœ… Wearing a supportive orthotic insole to reduce overpronation and unload the pressure. βœ… Choosing a wide, deep work boot that cushions and supports the foot properly throughout the workday. Treating the callus is only part of the solutionβ€”reducing the pressure that causes it is the key to keeping your feet comfortable. πŸ‘‰ Check out our podiatrist-designed arch support work boots at https://ergonx.com.au #CallusRemoval #TradieLife #FootCare #WorkBoots #Ergonx
