How heavy compared to my current boots?
At approximately 1.6kg per pair, the Helium is among the lightest AS 2210.3:2019 certified safety boots in Australia. Many traditional work boots weigh considerably more, reducing fatigue over thousands of steps each day.
Will they hold up on a construction site?
Yes. Every Ergonx boot is certified to AS 2210.3:2019 with a composite safety toe, antistatic protection and a fuel and oil resistant outsole. They're built for construction, mining, civil works, warehousing and industrial environments.
Do they take a custom orthotic?
Yes. The included Ultra Soft insole is fully removable, and the footbed is deep enough to comfortably accommodate most full-length custom orthotics.

Comfort & Fit: The fit is fantastic. During winter, wearing thick socks leaves plenty of comfortable room for my toes without feeling cramped. In summer with thinner socks, dropping in a half insole makes them feel just as custom-fit and comfortable.
Support: The built-in arch support is exceptional—it made an immediate difference for my feet and lower back pain. You can really feel the podiatrist-designed structure compared to standard boots.
